Julia was struggling each morning to get out of bed when her alarm went off. She had little energy heading into work, even after a decent night’s sleep. She enjoyed her job enough – it was fine. She received complimentary reviews, and yet something was missing. She didn’t feel confident in her skills or herself. She avoided confrontation and dealing with challenging colleagues and customers. Julia had received feedback that she needed to demonstrate more leadership skills, but she didn’t know what to do. One of her colleagues told her to get a mentor, but who and how? It felt creepy to approach someone she didn’t know well and make that request. Julia wanted to bring clarity to the next phase of her career. What did she want to do next? She wanted more but didn’t know what it was or how to get there.Julia had become stagnant in her career. Sound familiar?Julia took charge of her career and joined the Women’s Catalyst Network. Through the 10-month program, she got herself out of stagnation and into action. The results Julia found:

  • Increased her confidence
  • Defined the next phase of her career
  • Grew leadership skills (soft skills!)
  • Determined who she was as a leader
  • Built her professional and personal network with like-minded people

If you find yourself in a similar position as Julia, consider joining the Women’s Catalyst Network. The next cohort starts October 16. Schedule a time to speak with facilitator and founder Julie Holunga to learn if this is the right fit for you.
